Steven Wilson neve a progresszív rock rajongói számára biztosan nem cseng ismeretlenül: a brit zenész a Porcupine Tree alapítója (akiknek az új The Incident lemezébe a mai naptól lehet belehallgatni myspacen), fő gitárosa, énekese és dalszerzője. Ezen kívül számos más zenei projektben is aktív, ezek közül egyik a Bass Communion, mely egy drone/ambient jellegű kísérlet. Chiaroscuro címmel Steven egy koncertlemezt jelentet meg, melynek érdekessége, hogy az ezidáig egyetlen élő fellépés hallható rajta, mely tavaly novemberben került megrendezésre Antwerpenben. A 38 perces hanganyag tartalmazza azokat a Bass Communion dalokat is, amit a koncert látogatói kaptak a 7 inches split bakeliten. A csomagolás a megszokott hagyományt követi, japán stílusú gyönyörű mini LP, a design Carl Glover munkája.
