A prágai Obscure Promotion jóvoltából, immáron 24. alkalommal invitálja az extrém metal zene rajongóit Jaroměř, Josefov Erődjébe. Ez a rendezvény Brutal Assault néven fut, ami Közép-Európa legnagyobb- és legsűrűbb extrém metal zenei fesztiválja. Idén 4 nap, 5 színpad, és 130 fellépő gondoskodik. Köztük olyan bandák mint például: Anathema, Anthrax, Carcass, Deicide, Emperor, Hypocrisy, Meshuggah, Napalm Death, Parkway Drive, Sick of it All, Sodom, Testament, Therion stb. A különböző metal zenei produkciók mellett helyet kap az ambient, synthwave, noise stílusok is. Ők egy külön helyszínen fognak fellépni, amely Keep Ambient Lodge (KAL) néven fut. Ezen felül az helyet kap az experimental folk irányt képiselő Heilung is.
A Brutal Assault nem csak egy zenei fesztivál. Különböző lehetőségeket biztosít, így lehetőség nyílik a XVIII. századi katonai erőd katakombáinak látogatására, számtalan étel-ital választék várja az odalátogatókat, prémium cseh sörök 1,5 €-tól (38 Kč), hatalmas underground metal zenei piac, horror mozi, művészi kiálítás, tehetségkutató, közösségi sport lehetőségek: ping-pong, box stb.
