Dogma címmel jelent meg a német metalcore zenekar, a Half Me új nagylemeze. A lemez október 23-án az Arising Empire kiadónál jött ki egy három dalos klip, a Through Prayer, a IV. Melancholia és a Coup d’Etat kíséretében.

A Dogma a Half Me eddigi legambiciózusabb, legagresszívabb és legelgondolkodtatóbb albuma, amin a zenekar új szélsőségekbe emeli összetéveszthetetlen hangzását. Témájában lényegében egy olyan társadalomról szól, amely önként vesz részt saját összeomlásában. Az album azt vizsgálja, hogyan váltak a félelem, a manipuláció és a mesterségesen létrehozott megosztottság az irányítás erőteljes eszközeivé, formálva egy olyan világot, amelyben az emberek egyre inkább elterelik a figyelmüket a körülöttük lévő rendszerek megkérdőjelezéséről.

A Dogma továbbá párhuzamot von a múltbeli civilizációk felemelkedése és bukása, valamint a modern társadalom nyugtalanító valósága között, szembeszállva azzal az arroganciával, hogy a történelem nem ismételheti meg önmagát. A lemez egy olyan világ komor képét festi le, ahol a félelem folyamatosan felerősödik, a mesterséges konfliktusok megosztják az embereket, és a mindennapi túlélésért folytatott küzdelem kevés teret hagy a kritikai gondolkodásnak. Ahelyett, hogy egyszerű válaszokat vagy megnyugtató következtetéseket kínálna, a Dogma arra ösztönzi a hallgatóit, hogy kérdőjelezzék meg azt, amit abszolút igazságként kell elfogadniuk.

Jimi LaMort extrém industrial horror-metal zenekara, a Malhavoc november 13-án adja ki The Masquerade’s Death című új lemezét a Cursed Blessings Records gondozásában. A hat tételes lemez koncepciójának alapjául Edgar Allan Poe – The Masque Of The Red Death című műve szolgál. A történet arról szól, hogy még a legkiváltságosabbak sem menekülhetnek el a világjárvány pusztítása elől. 

A lemez a veszteség, a monotonitás és a jövőtől való szorongás témáit dolgozza fel, és visszatér a thrash gyökerekhez. Az albumon Connor Lex Grant (Trick Casket), Ian Mumble (Overthrow) és a zenekar eredeti alapító tagja Nigel Williams vendégszerepel. A megfeketedett speed metalban utazó kínai Demonslaught 666 egy új dalt mutatott be Eastern Blackfire címmel. A dal hamarosan megjelenő Hollowed in Phantasm – Embraced by Death EP-jükről való. A dalban a kínai heavy metal zenekar, a Dinkumoil gitárosa, Carl, valamint a maláj death metal trió, a Disrøtten dobosa, Arief vendégeskedik.

A finn crust-punk /grind banda, az Unborn Generation 2027 januárjában adja ki Suo kuolema című EP-jét. Az új kislemeze tematikusan folytatása lesz 2024-es …and All We Forget albumuknak, ami különböző forgatókönyveket vetett fel azzal kapcsolatban, milyen lesz a világ a jelenlegi túlfogyasztás korszaka után, és hogyan növekszik az emberek nyomorúsága ebben a dezinformációval teli korszakban.

Az EP első dalaként, egyben a zenekar első finn nyelvű dalaként a Kuolleena eläjät videója ismerhető meg. A dal arról szól, hogyan irányítják az embereket szándékosan hamis és félrevezető információkkal a kívánt végkifejlet felé, annak ellenére, hogy tudják, ez az egyén szempontjából negatív következményekkel jár.

December 4-én The Second Death címmel jelenik meg a brit black metal banda, a Necronautical ötödik nagylemeze a Vendetta Records kiadásában. A lemez öt év alatt készült el, zeneileg az atmoszférikus gótikus stílustól az extrém blackened death metalig terjed. Dalszövegeit tekintve a fájdalom, a kétségbeesés és az élet legsötétebb szakaszainak mélyen személyes élményeit tárja fel, végső soron pedig a démonok felismerésének és legyőzésének útját írja le.

A lemez előfutáraként már megtekinthető az Enemy of the Grave című dalhoz készült szöveges videó, amelyről az énekes‑gitáros, Naut a következőket mondta:

„A dal az elhúzódó szenvedésből fakadó erőről és elszántságról, valamint a kitartás akaratáról szól. A vizuális elemek végigvezetik a nézőt a zene őrületén és káoszán, mielőtt végül egy sötét, de határozott nyugalomba merülne. Számomra ez a dal az album legfelsőbb érdeme, és a teljes művet átszelő kaotikus utazás lezárása.”

Adrif címmel osztotta meg új dalát az orosz post-DSBM/gothic metal duó, a Léan. A dal a Lorelei Ether (billentyűs hangszerek, ének) és Vaarwel (gitár, basszusgitár, ének, dobprogramozás) alkotta zenekar debütáló albumáról való, ami 2027. február 12-én, Méristème címmel fog megjelenni Apocalyptic Witchcraft gondozásában.
